A RECAP MID-TERM 2010
63INTRODUCTION
Fellow Hubbers and other readers my take on the 2010 Mid-term elections is mixed but mostly positive in direction. We have begun the process of reclaiming our nation the United States of America from the liberal progressive scum that have taken us down the pathway blazed by Karl Marx and his minions like President Barrack Obama!!!!!!!!!
LACK OF GOVERNANCE
This man was elected on his promise of “Hope and Change” but he gave us his liberal progressive agenda of Health Care, Cap and Tax, etc, etc. We soon found this imposter to be a wolf in sheep’s clothing and we became restless with his bluster and lack of governance and lack of ability to lead our great nation the United States of America!!!!!!!!
This lack of leadership and lack of ability to govern all the American people brought about the biggest turnover in the House of Representative since the great Depression in 1932. The Republican massacre of the Democrats in the house was a real comeuppance for those liberal progressives. The makeup of the Senate stayed in Democrat hands but their majority is not large enough to stop a filibuster and since all appropriations are initiated in the House of Representatives we can begin to defund these monstrosities foisted on the American people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This paragon of arrogance President Obama told us you will take what I give you and like it you pond scum and we showed him better and then some with the repudiation of him and his liberal progressive minions in the 2010 mid-term elections!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THE PATH FORWARD
Now the Republican majority in the House of Representatives has the power of the purse strings since all appropriations must begin in the house according to the Constitution of the United States of America. Although the Democrats maintain a majority in the Senate that majority is too small to prevent a filibuster and thus we the American people have a great opportunity to retake our country.
We must remain diligent and keep the newly elected professed conservatives feet to the fire and make them perform in a common sense conservative manner in the tradition of Ronald Reagan. We must not squander this chance at regaining our nation by letting politicians lie to us once again. They must be held accountable to the American people right now because there is no time to waste for us or our children and grandchildren!!!!!!!!!
We must insist on performance from these neophyte politicians as well as returning veteran politicians and hold their feet to the fire!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The sake of the United stated of America is in the balance and we must maintain that balance with our diligence!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Folks it’s our country and we must prevail in our struggle to keep our democratic republic a viable entity on the face of the Earth for ourselves and our posterity!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The keyword you stated in your hub is 'diligence.' We must watch every move they make. We cannot overlook even the slightest action that may infringe on our rights.

Thanks for the reminder, Tom. Diligence and good sense is what we must demand from our representatives. There hasn't been a heck of a lot of it in Washington up until now.

I worry BO may start doing things by executive order and with his Czars.

The thing I noticed this time around on elections, people were more involved with politics and were informed of the issues. That is what we also need going forward. Plenty of work remains to be done and common sense should prevail, or at least I hope so.

One lesson I learned from the Tea Party movement is that entrenched politicians in both parties tend to lose track of why they are in office in the first place.
